When in doubt, just go. . . .

So the Sunday run was a bit later today then normal and good thing for me! As I went out to dinner with friends last night and was up later then I care to admit (not to mention more alcohol then I care to admit), I was a bit lagging this morning. As much as I didn't want to go, I knew that I needed to get my butt outdoors. I was trying to think the last time I ran outside and it was nearly 2 weeks, no wonder I felt like a caged animal. So has the brain fog lifted and we plugged away at our 6 mile run, I remembered how pretty it is to run outside in the winter. Peg and I both brought the metronome, after 1/2 mile I silenced mine but I still followed Peg's. All four of us sounded like galloping horses with it, but I think our cadence was pretty close to the recommended 180. Great run, good company, so glad I didn't stick to my first instinct and skip it :)

  1. Good work getting out even though your brain was telling you no! I think the more you are able to get out the door during those times you really don't want to, the more confidence it builds in you that you can do any run in the future!
